Experiementing making play-dough

We were busy today, lots of phone calls for mommy plus mommy finally got her haircut today. :) But one thing fun we did was making our play-dough. It was kind of like a science experiment for us. The longer the heat was on, our mixture got harder and harder until viola, play dough. Then we experimented with adding food coloring to our play dough and we all found that we needed more food coloring to make the color sink into all of the play dough. Anyway, I enjoyed making our own play-dough and look forward to playing our own dough. :)

It was easy stirring in the beginning. Prime and J having fun. Toward the end, not so easy. :)

Almost ready. Kneading into balls. Experimenting with color.
Final product. Tutorial here.
In case you are wondering, the kids are wearing hats because a piece of hair was found in the mixture and I told them, that's why chefs wear a hat to keep their hair from falling into the food. As soon as I said that, both kids made a bee line for their hats. :)

Making playdough looks easy and fun. It might be tough sometimes especially looking at Prime's melodramatic picture.
