wild night with the ball

The kids had a ball last night jumping on my big ball. This was J girl's idea. First,
they did it with me, then with daddy. Such energy! They jumped and jumped,
and jumped some more. After daddy had enough , they moved on to race with the
jumping balls and had a blast!

Here, J/W are off to the ceiling with a little help from their daddy!

On your mark, get set, go! We have a winner!! J girl says, I won! . Chilling out
later with some ice. Look how happy J girl is! :)

W boy joins his sister for a cool down. J girl even showed us a little dance
move. :)

This is from today. After a little "black friday" shopping where they both got a light saber(this time with lights/sound effects), new PJs and new flannel sheets. Later, J/W saw the new movie "Bolt" in 3D and this is the glasses they took home from the movie theater.
The outfit J girl is wearing is a gift she got from KK 3 or 4 years ago for Christmas. Now finally, she can wear it!! Thank you, KK! :)

Turkey day thanking

This year is the first year we spent Turkey day just the 4 of us. Thank you God for a fabulous day! Thank God for safe travel and for providing everything for us. We are so blessed.

For the first time, we went to see the Turkey day parade. Oh, it was pretty cold, but we are thankful for all our warm clothes, mittens, and snow pants. Oh, it was crowded, but we are thankful people let us squeeze in to watch the parade. Oh, it was a long walk from where we parked to where the parade was, but we are thankful we all walked in good cheer. We are also thankful for a beautiful parade with just a dazzling amount of stuff to see. We are thankful everyone enjoyed the show and for the beads and candy we received. We even saw the duo called "nothing but strings" perform from America's Got Talent and singer Brandy. :)

After the parade, we went to eat at Hard Rock cafe. I'm thankful that we are able to enjoy a wonderful meal. The reason we went to H.R cafe is because J girl had always talked about it because a shirt my dear hubby has. Anyway, we were thankful for a place to chill out.

After we got home, we're thankful we have all the ingredients to make a traditional turkey dinner, with the turkey, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and organic sugar cookies . We are thankful everything turned out delicious and we have plenty of left over.

Thank you God for taking such good care of us and for making this holiday memorable.

crab eating in anticipation of Turkey day

Yesterday, J/W ate crab for the first time in their life. I'm talking about real crab with claws and the whole load.

W boy tried to eat the crab by himself at first, with the cracker and all. Later, he found it was much easier to have daddy do the work and he just open his mouth...of course! J girl only had a half of crab.... even though her crab had the most meat. I think it proved a little too much work for her for a little meat. Maybe next time....

Here are a few crafts J/W made in celebrating Turkey day:

See my turkey above? He was made from a glove and with feathers and felt.

Here is another turkey: see my pretty feathers.

This is J girl's turkey which she made at school using apples, twizzlers, gum drops, raisins and marshmallows. How cute! One of her friend, S in kindergarten, saw J's turkey and said, "yum, I want to eat it!"
