King Winter is still in the land

Despite the sun staying with us and warming us, the temperature holds steady at 29 degrees. Brr.... needless to say, we couldn't stay outside comfortably for longer than 7-10 minutes. So we did our Enki movements today finally... after a long break. We tried out Maple Sugar Adventure (3/10) courtesy of a very imaginative fellow Enki mom (I don't know how to link just the particular posts). The kids were very enthusiastic participants and were glad to do circle once again. Thanks, Harvest Moon.

Share some pictures from our brief outing. Check out the kids' expression, especially Prime's face. He is so melodramatic. ;-)
J broke an icicle and holding as pretend icicle staff.

See the icicle in the background on the branch? My kids are not really outdoor kids. I practically had to make them go outside for a little bit. We were here at the park for the maple sugaring only to find out that it is not the correct date (they said dates on their website are not always updated.) It's next Thursday. Hopefully, it will be warmer by then.

My kids are happy to stay home all day on days like today. No wonder Prime's favorite place is home. Home sweet home!
