Making the shapes (foxes) was challenging for Prime. So I drew the outline of the fox on a piece of paper and that helped him figure out how to make the fox. Then he would look at it, and make it again. The 2nd and 3rd times he is able to do it faster.

We discovered there we have 2 sets, perfect for making 2 foxes. Later, we realized the figures can be made with one color and Prime wanted to do that. :)J did a fabulous job with the colored tan grams. Her only challenge was not fully realizing there are 3 sizes of triangle and for the shapes to turn out correct, they are not inter changeable.
She has also been working on picking out the "furious fact family" using Enki worksheets. She uses cuisenaire rods to help her and has been making progress on that. She figures out if its addition or subtraction. The "furious fact family" (wrong set) in the example below would be 7 4 12.
