Science - Irridencense

I first saw this idea at Miss Lisa's website. Today, we finally got a chance to try it out. You'll need food coloring (Neon coloring worked the best), salt, and ice. Try and see which color works the best.

We tried it on snow too.

We added salt/food coloring to our bubble water. It made nice color dots when the bubble popped. The kids also had fun mixing the colors (J says she's making blackberry soup.)

Miss Lisa provided this site for explanation of iridenscence.
