catching up in pictures

I haven't been taking lots of photos but when I look back, I still took quite a few. Some the kids and daddy took.

Chinese summer dessert made with boiled green mung beans, sugar optional (chilled). It is served hot in winter.


J brought down her 1st birthday signing dog and made a leash using yarn and had great fun pulling the dog around; Prime has the exact same one, except it is blue. The kids enjoyed reading all the well wishes on the signing dog.

Prime doing some practice with sorting of the days of the week, J wrote on the cards. Tuesday and Thursday gave him little trouble. The idea is he'll know the order no matter which day starts.

We have been on a origami craze and made many boxes. (can't find my origami paper) but the kids still had a ball and filled them with all sorts of things. J always tried to put a lid on the box. :) We made star boxes too, not sure where that is now.
The next 2 pictures are at the Library Patron day, free ice cream, face painting, ballon art, etc. I think they might be a little old for this kind of thing. Prime didn't care for the ice cream all that much nor wanted to do face paint but he did really like the free popcorn.

1st time this summer at the beach; the kids can finally make the tunnels and fill it with water. They really enjoyed that.
