Sun, icicles, and pretend play

Today is a really nice winter day. The sun is out and the temperature by where we live is mild. I even enjoyed staying outside basking in the sun and enjoying a little sun therapy. :-)

J and Prime are out enjoying this winter day. They are on a mission to battle the bad guys, and the icicles are their weapons......... quick, hide the "magical things" so the bad guys will not find it. Imagination is truly a wonderful gift from God.

Trying to capture a pic of the sun. The melting icicles. Piles of snow - does that not look like a cake for the snow queen?

Their "weapons" and "magical things". The icicles break off really easy and are very brittle.

Shooting at the pretend "enemy", carrying his "weapon"; I love this, mommy!

Snow tunnels

Today is relatively "mild" compared to the last couple days but we got a lot of snows. Daddy went out to shovel the snow and look what J/Prime did. They dug a snow tunnel and they are not done yet. Gotta admire kid's creativity... this is definitely not something I would have thought of to do. My idea would be stay inside and cozy up with some hot tea and a book or watch a little bit of my Chinese drama. :-)

See the tunnel? They have just started. See J in the tunnel. 20 seconds later, the tunnel is wee bit bigger and J is bit more "cozy" in there.

Here is picture from our Sat. breakfast. J with Devin and Kayla. I think PRIME took this picture or maybe it was a different one he took?

Wolf-wolf!

Here is a little project J was working on, dog houses. She recycled fruit roll up paper for the door, cut and pasted paper for the floor of the house and made a dog bowl using paper and shredded paper to pretend as dog food. The main house and the puppy is from Mcdonald's happy meal. For the dog's bed, she used a bean bag. It was cute.

Here are a few more pictures from yesterday. Look at those red cheeks! They had lots fun smashing the snow on my screen door. Yup, that's my kids. J can be really silly and goofy sometimes. She can make PRIME giggle like no other human can. :-) And his giggles are like rippling water fall, they just come out and goes on for a long time.

Bear Claws

Today was a really nice day. There was beautiful snow on the ground from last night and the temperature is pretty mild. W boy could not wait to put on his Bear Claws and go out to play in the snow. First, he had a lot of trouble walking with his snow shoe but after a little training about how to lift his claw and put it straight down, W boy got it and walked in the snow quite a ways without falling or having his bear claws coming off.

J girl is at school. She is on a field trip going to the theater. She was hoping last night her school would not close today so she could go to the theater. She also had a concert last night at her school.

Right into the snow. There is another fall. Okay, I got it now.

1)At the top of a snow pile. 2)See the bear claw prints I left behind? Some of other footprints are my mommy's. 3)W boy licking snow. Must be good, huh?4) I just thought this picture is so cute.
